In short
The business MCP server is a single URL, /mcp/business, that an AI assistant connects to over streamable HTTP with an OAuth token. It exposes 130 tools across orders, typed actions, data reads, categories, SEO, content entries, the page builder and diagnostics, filtered to what each user is entitled to.
The problem it solves
An AI assistant that can only read what you paste into it cannot do the work. One integration per task, each with its own key, is a mess nobody can audit.
How it works
3 steps, start to finish
-
1
Copy the setup
Settings, AI / MCP Connection gives you the server URL and a snippet for your client.
-
2
Approve the connection
Sign in and approve the OAuth request; the token carries the mcp:use scope.
-
3
Ask for work
The assistant picks the tools it needs and names the business on every call.

Works together with
- Copy the setup for ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code or any MCP client from Settings.
- An OAuth token per connection; the agent sees only the businesses and tools it is allowed.
- A write can run as a dry run first; one that needs it will not run without a confirmation.
- Agent calls are logged, and an agent can list them and see what one call sent.
- Public documentation for building apps, plus an API reference with Postman and OpenAPI exports.
