Who we are

Autohisab is business management software for shops, cafés and restaurants. It is operated by Flashmandu. This policy covers the Autohisab web application, the Autohisab mobile app, and the Autohisab Bridge printing companion app.

Autohisab is business software sold to businesses. The people who use it are staff of those businesses, and the records they keep in it belong to their business, not to us.

What we collect

Account information

Your name, email address, and phone number where you provide one; the business profile you belong to; and your role within it. This is what identifies you when you sign in and determines what you are allowed to see.

Business records you enter

Items, orders, invoices, payments, inventory, customer and supplier records, and similar operational data. This is your business's data. We store and process it so the software can function, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

Technical information

Log data needed to run and secure the service: IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, and error diagnostics. Where you enable push notifications, a device notification token so notifications can reach the right device.

Autohisab Bridge

Autohisab Bridge is our printing companion app. It receives print jobs from your Autohisab account and sends them to a thermal receipt printer on your local network or connected by USB. It has no business features of its own and collects no location data, contacts, or advertising identifier.

Because it is a separate app with a much smaller data footprint than the web application, it has its own policy setting out exactly what it sends, what it never collects, and why it needs each permission:

How we use information

To provide the service, authenticate you, route print jobs and notifications to the right device, provide support when you ask for it, keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations. Nothing more.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with data brokers or advertisers, and we do not use it for advertising or for tracking you across other apps or websites.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run Autohisab, and only to the extent they need it: hosting and storage providers, our email and SMS delivery providers, and push notification delivery. They act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Security and retention

All traffic between our apps and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS; Autohisab Bridge blocks unencrypted connections outright. Pairing tokens are stored as hashes, never as readable values. Access to your business data is restricted to the members of your business profile and to the permissions their role grants them.

We keep your business records for as long as your account is active. When a device is unpaired it is removed, and when an account is deleted its data is deleted or anonymised, except where we are required to keep records for legal reasons.

Your choices

Unpair a Bridge device at any time from Autohisab; its record and token are removed.
Revoke camera or notification permission in your device settings at any time.
Request a copy of your data, correction of it, or deletion of your account by contacting us.

Children

Autohisab is business software and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will tell you in the app.
