The Events calendar app adds a calendar layout to the Collection element: pick a module and its date field, and entries appear by date in a Week, Month or Year view. Past events can fade and carry an Ended badge.

An events page kept as a list of dates in a paragraph is out of date the day after the first event.

Install the app
Add Events calendar from Apps; an Events calendar section appears in the builder.

Point it at your entries
Choose the module and the date field it should read, such as an event date.

Pick the view
Week, Month or Year, with the week starting on Monday or Sunday, and upcoming, past or all events.

Style it
Colour the period header, weekday row and day cells, and choose how past events look.
