In short
Themes live in Storefront Settings under Design System. Pick a storefront family (Minimal, Clay or Skeuo) for its spacing rhythm, corner radius, font pair and chrome, then tune the palette, the font per role and the global radius and spacing. Every layer that uses a theme token follows the change.
The problem it solves
Changing the brand colour on a site built from loose styles means hunting through every button and heading, and missing the one on the checkout page.
