Edit in a draft, publish when it is right
Every change is saved as a draft. Preview it, review what is unpublished section by section, then Publish Now or schedule it. Nothing reaches customers before that.

In short
Page builder edits are saved as a draft and never reach the live store until you publish. The Publish menu lists every unpublished section with Discard per section or Discard all changes, publishes now or on a schedule, and every save and publish is kept as a revision an assistant can restore after a preview.
The problem it solves
Editing a live site means customers watch the half finished version, and one wrong click on a busy evening is visible to everyone.
How it works
4 steps, start to finish
-
1
Edit freely
Every change saves to the draft; a dot on Publish shows there is something unpublished.
-
2
Preview
Press Shift P to play the page the way a visitor sees it.
-
3
Review the changes
Unpublished Changes lists each changed section, with Discard on each and Discard all changes at the foot.
-
4
Publish or schedule
Publish Now, or Schedule to pick a publish time.
In detail
What draft & publish does for you
-
Always a draft
Edits never touch the live store until you publish.
-
Preview
Play the page as a visitor would, then go back to editing.
-
Unpublished Changes
A list of what changed, section by section, before you commit.
-
Schedule
Set a publish time for a sale that should go live at midnight.
-
Recover unsaved work
Edits left in a closed tab are offered back as Unsaved changes found.
-
Revisions
Saves and publishes are recorded, and an assistant can restore an earlier one after previewing it.
-
No. The live store serves the published page until you publish again.
-
Yes. Discard one section, or Discard all changes to go back to what is published.
-
Yes, through the MCP connection: an assistant lists a section's revisions, previews the restore, and restores it only with the confirmation that preview gave.
-
No. Assistants work in the draft and show a preview; publishing is a separate step you approve.
