Keep booking sites in step over iCal

Publish your occupancy as an iCal feed booking sites can subscribe to, and read their feeds back to close rooms they have sold. Feeds are polled on their own and a failing one says so.

In short

Distribution feeds work in both directions: an export feed publishes your occupancy as Reserved or Blocked events at a private link, and an import feed reads a booking site's calendar and closes those rooms. Imports are polled every few minutes, and each feed shows its health and last success.

The problem it solves

A room sold on a booking site at midnight is still free on your desk in the morning, and the double booking is found when two guests arrive for it.

How it works

4 steps, start to finish

  1. 1

    Add feed

Choose Export, publish our occupancy, or Import, read theirs and close the room.

  2. 2

    Pick the scope

One room, a room type or the whole property.

  3. 3

    Connect the site

Reveal subscribe URL for an export, or paste the site's iCal link for an import.

  4. 4

    Watch its health

Each feed shows Health and Last success, with Poll now, Pause and Resume.

In detail

What OTA calendar sync does for you

Common queries

Questions people ask

  • No. It closes the room for those nights as a block. The booking itself stays with the site that sold it.
  • No. The export shows nights as Reserved or Blocked, with no guest details.
  • Rotate token issues a new subscribe link and the old one stops working.
  • Imports are polled every few minutes, and each feed at most every ten. Poll now fetches one straight away.
