Employees with a code, a department and a login

An employee is a contact record with an employee code, department, position and hire date. Link it to a user account and that person can clock in and use attendance.

In short

Employees are party records of the employee type, each with an Employee Code, Department, Position and Hire Date. Linking an employee to a user account lets that person clock in and out and see their own attendance, while roles decide any admin access.

The problem it solves

Staff details kept in a notebook never match the people who can log in. Attendance then belongs to nobody, and the manager cannot tell which punch was whose.
